It’s time I opened up. My Mom has an addiction…to gardening! Here is one of her recent pictures - I really like this one because dh and I had irises in our wedding:

Angel Iris
On more than one occasion my mom has said, “I don’t know why I never did anything with the yard when you kids were younger…” I, in turn, swiftly remind her that it’s probably because she was working practically 3 jobs and raising 2 children.
A no brainer!
There are so many beautiful pictures I’d like to share here, but she plans to sell them online someday soon, and I don’t want to ruin that for her.
Speaking of, if you are reading this and know something about selling a product like this, consider sharing your experience. You can share your story right here on my site – she’s my mom and she visits often
Thanks!
Is she selling them on Etsy.com? http://www.etsy.com
My addiction, where I find all things handmade. If she doesn’t know about Etsy it’s a great place for her to get started and then move on her own as she gets a following. My cousin & sister in law both have shops.
I did recommend Etsy to her after I learned about it from you, and she checked them out
I think she needs to head to the US Copyright site first and then dig deeper into becoming a shop owner. What do your cousin and sister sell? Do they have any advice? How can I check their sites out – will you post links, please? Thanks, sister
On a side note, I love the illustrations on their site. I contacted them a while ago and asked who does their work so I could look into them for future books. They’re done by a woman named Anda. I think they’re great!
Here are the shop sites: http://www.ruffled.etsy.com http://www.madandzo.etsy.com I think they both just went for it, they signed up and started selling. Your mom is probably smart to to the US Copyright thing. I suppose with photos it’s different. Enjoy their shops!
Thanks. I should make some of my books by hand and sell them there
